Pretty typical of most ratchet straps, these work great. There is a nice oversized handle as well as a smaller grip handle on the release, the tag clearly states the specs, and they even include a storage bag.
I think these deliver as promised. The straps seem well made and stitched. The ratchets operate smoothly. There is very little information on the packaging itself regarding the product aside from the small tag on the strap. I had to go back and check the listing to confirm what I had ordered. I these will fit my need for light duty ratchet straps.
I use ratchet tie down straps to secure my 17ft aluminum canoe to the racks on the top of my minivan. With 1500 LB breaking strength and 500 working load limit these straps secure the canoe from moving while driving. The strap construction is good but the ratchet is not as robust as some of the tie downs that I have in my stock. There is not as much room as I would like to get my fat finger to the inner release and the inner release is not grooved for a finger. All-in-all these are a decent pair of ratchet straps and do what is promised.
These have what I prefer for securing, which is the ratchet buckle, so they stay locked. The straps are not the think material version but similar to a lot of other brands. The have worked well and expect them to last for quite a while.
We have tons of ratcheting tie downs. These are the best out of any we have used. The handles are actually injection over molded to the steel handles so they can't fall off. Others have snap on handles that can pop off. With these polar bear straps you will always have a soft grip to hold. The stamping of the steel isn't great as there are burrs, but they are out of the way so as long as you touch where intended you won't get scratched. We also appreciate that these come with a bag. We wish the bag was mesh so we could see what is in it, as we have all our straps in bags and it can take a while to find the style and size we are looking for. We highly recommend these.

Refund Policy
Returned products must be in new, unused condition and include the original box and/or packaging with all tags included.
Once your return is received and inspected by POLARBEAR (usually within 48 hours of receipt), your refund will be processed and a credit will be applied to your credit card or original payment method. Please note that depending on your credit card company, it may take an additional 2-10 business days after your credit is applied for it to be posted to your account.
For wire transfer payments, all refunds will be issued to store credit.
You are responsible for all shipping costs associated with getting your order back to our warehouse in Dallas.
Please do not abuse this policy by ordering multiple (more than 2) of the same or similar item with the intention of returning the majority of your order.
